Cad Bane Children’s Costume

Posted in Boys Costumes, Star Wars Costumes on December 31, 2009 by admin

Cad bane is a scary guy.  I was surprised that my 5 year old was absolutely determined that this year for Halloween he was going to be Cad Bane.  If you follow Star Wars the Clone Wars you know that Cad Bane was the sinister bounty hunter that went around stealing Jedi Holocrons and younglings from the Galaxy.

He was serving the sinister sith lord.  He seemed to escape from the Jedi time and time again.  He was ruthless cunning and kept seeming to get the upper hand.  The most memorable scene is when he disguised himself as a clone trooper to avoid detection and get off the exploding trade federation ship.

Overall, a cool costume and I was surprised to see it was even available considering this character was just introduced this season.  Kudos to whoever made this thing available.

Child R2D2

Child R2D2Perfect Costume for any toddler.  Easy to get and keep on your kid.  Additionally, they look even cuter than R2D2 himself.  I wish I had thought of this when my kids were a little younger.  I imagine you could do a variation on this and have something like Oscar the Grouch as well.

If you threw in a little battery pack with some blinky lights for the head it would be awesome.  I just don’t know if you would be able to keep it on a 2 year old.

Little Devil

My Little DevilThere are tons of cute costumes for kids, but I’ve always been a big fan of the little devil.  This is what we dressed my oldest son in for about 2 years.  One year we had his grandmother dress as a devil too.  They made quite a matching pair.

Depending on your child it might not be too much of a stretch to see them as a little devil.  They can flaunt it in style.
