Real Pac Man Costume

Posted in Mens Costumes on June 13, 2009 by admin

This guy made a fully functioning PAC man video game machine as his costume.  He mounted a laptop and everything.  You can see detailed pictures on this site.  Pretty ingenius he actually mounted a laptop to a wood frame.  He then took a joystick mounted to another wood frame and connected it to the laptop.  You can have the real 80s experience.  Although I think it would be a little awkward having this guy stare at you while you play Pac Man.  Fortunately, the joystick was mounted high up.  You definitely wouldn’t want to make a mistake with that puppy.

There were some other excellent Pac Man designs as well.  There were also some other prices for some crazy costumes too.

Jabba – Too Much Summer Barbeque?

Posted in Mens Costumes, Star Wars Costumes on May 17, 2009 by admin

Huge JabbaIf you had too many hot dogs and hamburgers during the summer don’t worry.  You can still put your portly patootie into a Jabba the Hut costume.

Beg for candy as the Galaxies most Obese gangster.

Plus didn’t Jabba always have all the hot girls dancing around him?  It would probably be better in some sort of cloth as opposed to plastic, but I guess this thing is inflatable to help make the lard-tail look more complete.

I plan on moderating myself on the hot dogs so I can fit into one of the storm trooper costumes instead of this thing.

Storm Trooper

Classic Storm TrooperYes, one day I will have this Star Wars Costume.  This is my favorite Star Wars Costume of all time.  If I had $1,000 that I had no idea what to do with this is the first thing I would get.  Maybe after my kids go to college, who knows.

So there are a couple of places selling the armor plating, the helmet, but what about the boots.  I mean you can’t have a $1,000 costume and then polish it off with the same pair of Nike’s you cut the grass in.  You need some authentic storm trooper boots.  I found this site online that does have storm trooper boots.  They also had Clone Troopers, Han Solo and Padme’s kick you know what boots.

Even though this is the costume you dream about as a kid, I might consider going with the new Clone Trooper gear.
